Question: i am a 24 year old mother of two who has had diabetes for 13 years. i am married and have a problem with my sexual drive i have tried creams for the dryness and meds and they dont seem to work i have noticed lately that when my partner and i have sexual intercourse he breaks out with these bumps that look like pimples might i be causing him that outbreak.please i need help.

Answer:

Are you lacking completely in sexual desire, or are you just experiencing female dryness?  It is common for women with diabetes to suffer from "Female Sexual Arousal Disorder" or FSAD.  You will need to see your General Practioner to get properly diagnosed, but it is a possibility.  Also, how long has it been since you had your last child?  Sex drive often decreases for a few months to a year after a new child is born.

Secondly, the dryness factor is easily fixed.  The best way to combat a dry vagina during intercourse is over-the-counter lubricants.  I do not suggest using KY, but there are many others that can be found at your local drug store.  Rub it on your husband's shaft before he enters you, and a little one the outside portion of the labia.   This will provide friction free sex.  Check the ingredients.  If you are allergic to anything in the lubricants, this may cause more harm than good.

Thirdly, a probable reason your husband is breaking out after intercourse is he is suffering from friction burn.  If you are experiencing dryness, his penis is not getting the lubrication it needs while sliding in and out.  Once you start using the lubricants I suggested, that should clear up.  If not, he needs to see a doctor because it might be a more serious problem.
